This unique product blends the past with the present by incorporating authentic fragments of Cedar beams that were once part of the historic Independence Hall. The integrity of this iconic structure remained untouched until the late 19th century when renovations were required. During these renovations in 1897, a few original oak and cedar beams were removed and preserved by a group of dedicated enthusiasts. To commemorate the nation’s Bicentennial celebration in 1976, Burnes of Boston crafted a limited series of chips, each carefully cut from these original cedar beams of Independence Hall.
